Next month’s ANIMAL MAN ANNUAL #2 not only reintroduces the series’ original creative team of writer Jeff Lemire and artist Travel Foreman, but it also introduces readers to the mother of all spiders: Anansa the Spider Queen.
Like any mother, Anansa is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her kids. But when her children start to abduct humans and cocoon them so that Anansa can feed off of their dreams, it’ll be up to Buddy Baker to investigate what’s really going on. But what are Anansa’s ties to Cliff and how can she help Buddy connect to his deceased son one last time?
