Earlier this week it was reported that Frank Miller’s upcoming cover for the anniversary issue of Detective Comics #27 had been cancelled by DC, and it was advised that retailers up their order for the Greg Capullo cover instead so that orders could remain the same. Well, as of today, DC Comics has decided to reinstate the Frank Miller cover.
As of right now it is unclear why DC Comics made the reversal, but one thing is for certain, retailers who managed to up their Greg Capullo cover order are now going to be scrambling to bring it back down.
