This year is the 75th anniversary of the Dark Knight, we expect big things in 2014 and we are sure that DC Comics wont fail us in that regard. In April of this year the release of Batman: Eternal will be among us. It will be a 12 month story which will come out on a weekly basis. A host of highly regarded writers will be working together to form the story. They are Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Ray Fawkes, John Layman, and Tim Seeley.

Its also worth noting that artists Jason Fabok and Dustin Nguyen are going to be designing and drawing the first month’s worth of stories.
There is a villian based arc that is to be headed up by Layman who has already reported that he is jumping off the ship. He completed work on the first 4 comics and they will be run in their current form which was part of the original plan. To that end we unfortunately don’t have word on a possible replacement.
