Warner Bros has a lot on their plate and the rumor is now they’re getting ready to announce the next DC project. With Man of Steel laying the groundwork for the shared movie universe, Warner Bros is getting ready to expand upon it. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has stated that a “film series” will be announced in the near future, most likely at the upcoming Comic Con.
Everyone is thinking that the film series he’s talking about is the Justice League, which makes the most sense, you can introduce the other Leaguers in Batman vs Superman so they don’t come out of the blue in the next movie.
We know for sure Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will appear in BvS, as well as two other movies included in her three-movie deal she signed earlier when she was casted. The other two movies presumably would be the Justice League movie and a solo WW film.
Warner Bros does have other projects on hand they could very well put in front of both these ideas. Guillermo Del Toro has signed on for a Justice League Dark movie and David Goyer/Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Sandman movie.
This is all speculation at this point but Warner Bros is gaining a stronghold with their DC TV shows such as Arrow and the upcoming Gotham, The Flash and Hourman. you gotta think they’re going to strike while the iron is hot.
