Wonder Woman & Lois Lane In A Love Triangle?

There are fresh rumors stating Wonder Woman and Lois Lane may well be in a love triangle with The Man of Steel in his upcoming sequel Batman V Superman; Dawn of Justice. Lois Lane star Amy Adams spoke briefly on the subject saying –

Am I interested [in a Lois-Superman-Wonder Woman love triangle]? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries.

Rumors are not too far off as Superman is currently dating Wonder Woman in DC Comics New52 comic lined universe and in the last action Superman movie, he shared a kiss with Lois.

Before Gal Gadot was announced to be our first movie adaptation of the Amazon Princess, Gina Carano was one of the fan favorites to take on the role, with whom she is currently dating Henry Cavill.

However Gina Carano and Gal Gadot who both where in Fast & Furious 6 are definitely on friendly terms that Carano is even in full support of Gadot as Wonder Woman, she goes on and says –

I think people have an idea what they consider Wonder Woman. I definitely know (Gadot) has been training and there’s so much more that goes into being a strong female character. I think people have their own idea, but I always like the underdog, I’m always rooting for the underdog. If the world says you can’t do something, I couldn’t care less because that’s not how anybody should live their lives.”

Pitting two women against each other? Wow, that’s never been done before…

I agree with Amy Adams, I wish we could have two strong female protagonists (Lois & Wonder Woman being ideal candidates) who DON’T vie for a man’s attention, who DO work together and get along. It’d actually be more entertaining if Kal/Clarke was the one macho-ing about trying & failing to get them to swoon over him.

Unfortunately it sounds like Zach Snyder’s going the tiresome and uninteresting route on this one.
