Andrew Kreisberg, March Guggenheim, Greg Berlanti, Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Paul Blackthorne (Captain Lance), John Barrowman (Malcom Merlyn), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), David Ramsey (John Diggle), and Colton Haynes (Roy Harper) were in attendance at the San Diego Comic-Con panel. Due to filming for a film, Emily Bett Rickards was absent from the panel, as was Katie Cassidy.

Season 3 promises to be as action-packed as the seasons preceding it, and many of the characters will be in a different place from where they left off. In the first episode of the season, ominously titled “The Calm,” Team Arrow will be on the ultimate high before their world comes plummeting to the ground. With the upcoming birth of his child, Diggle’s role within Team Arrow will be explored. Thea Queen will be in the loving care of her villainous father, Malcom Merlyn. Ray Palmer makes his first appearance as Ray Palmer as he challenges Oliver for not only his company, but for other aspects of his life, including his romantic life with Felicity. Finally, during the panel, Kreisberg also teased an upcoming episode titled “Oracle,” featuring a long-awaited Felicity-centric flashback to her time at MIT where fans will finally meet one or both of her parents.
