According to a film producer and director based in Morocco – Nassim Abasi, with the news posted via Twitter that filming of the 2016’s follow up of Man of Steel continues in a very interesting locale for DC fans.

After shooting in Detroit most of this Summer – with Affleck debuting in his Bruce Wayne persona, the production of the film is set to film next at location in Morocco, Africa.

As reported in May during a Warner Bros. press release, filming is set to continue next on the South Pacific, Michigan and Illinois as well.

At location in Morocco

The choice of filming in Morocco raises serious questions as to where the plot of the film is going, Morocco may very well represent the fictional North-African nation of Kahndaq, meaning we could see a bit of background story for the Shazam film, however it can also mean the location will serve as basis for Ra’s al Ghul domain, seeing as this is mostly a Batman/Superman film, what do you think?

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to be released on March 25, 2016 in 3D in theaters everywhere, directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, also starring Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and more.
