As soon as it was announced that Arrow and The Flash will take place in the same universe a crossover has been top of fan’s wish list. And now it seems that the fans will get what they asked for. And going from The Flash’s episode title, “Flash vs. Arrow”, it seems they will be facing off against each other.

Speaking with IGN Arrow star Stephen Amell said that it was his idea to have to cross over episode. He went on to say “We are very much guests in Central City and very much the rogue team in Central City. Just as much as Grant and the Flash team are guests here. We talk and we delve into the differences between Central City and Starling City but this particular moment is very much an Arrow-centric moment.”

Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen, compared the two shows to each other by saying that “When [Arrow] shoot action sequences, pretty much what you see is what you get and they’re really doing everything.” This makes sense because Green Arrow does not move at supersonic speed, but Gustin went on to say “We do a lot of plate shots that are empty shots of the area we’re going to be in and then they’re putting us in later in post. I do a lot of the fighting. I don’t have to do it full speed and then they ramp it up and a lot of people have to freeze and I keep moving.”

The Flash continues next week on Tuesday the 28th of October and Arrow airs on Wednesday next week.
