The CWs The Flash and Arrow

Arrow is being picked up by The CW for its fourth season in 2016 and its spin-off, The Flash, was confirmed to be returning for a second season before its first season is even finished. In the first season of The Flash, we saw cross-over episodes with “Arrow,” fans can only hope that there will be more of that in the upcoming new seasons as The CW gears up their storylines for the 2016 television season.

And by picking up both series early on in the game, The CW will do just that, according to network President Mark Pedowitz.

“Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience. Rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.”

It will certainly be interesting to see where The CW takes the two shows next, from Arrow showing more and more of Ray Palmer’s character, to The Flash getting deeper in with Reverse-Flash and the ever mysterious Dr. Wells, nefarious secrets and all.
