David Ayer, director of the upcoming 2016 Suicide Squad film, describes Jared Leto’s Joker as “majestic” in response to a fan question on Twitter, along with a behind-the-scenes photo.
The film will be loosely based on John Ostrander’s Suicide Squad stories, where a number of DC Comics supervillains, under the supervision of Amanda Waller, were assigned to go on special missions for the government.

The film is directed by Ayer and also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. With Tom Hardy having left the role of Rick Flag due to other commitments, it is a strong possibility that Joel Kinnaman may replace him, as he is being eyed for the role according to rumor.
