CBS has released its official fall programming schedule, and with it the date new comic book drama, Supergirl (starring Melissa Benoist as title character Supergirl), is set to hit televisions for the first time.
The pilot episode is going to debut on October 26th, at 8:30pm. Supergirl is set to premier directly after the first episode from the new season of The Big Bang Theory, a highly favourable time slot after the way the show helped launch Monday drama Scorpion last fall and help turn it into a big success. CBS is hoping to replicate this success with Supergirl, and after the pilot airs the rest of the season’s episodes will air at the slightly earlier time of 8pm, which will remain its regular time slot.
Make sure you catch the first episode of Supergirl on Monday October 26th, at 8:30pm, only on CBS.
