When (after much speculation) the world found out that Jason Momoa would in fact play Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor can’t go many places without people asking him about the role. A role he will extend throughout the DC Entertainment Universe, including his own movie.

Jason Momoa was in Toronto for Fan Expo Canada 2015 this weekend, and he revealed what he could about all things Aquaman. “I can’t see me busting out a bunch of jokes. I mean, I don’t think it’ll be like that,” said Momoa. He also declined to comment (or not comment…) whether or not he would be in direct conflict with Ben Afflick and Henry Cavill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

“I don’t think Aquaman’s going to be raping and pillaging any villages,” he joked. Momoa was making reference to his role of “Khal Drogo” in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

One thing is probably certain, Jason Momoa will be less like this,

and more like this.
