Chris O’Donnell Reveals His Favourite Batman

Now he may be best known on television screens as the star of NCIS: Los Angeles, but in the mid-90s actor Chris O’Donnell was famous for his big screen portrayal of Robin in the films Batman Forever (1995) and Batman and Robin (1997). In a recent interview, O’Donnell reveals that neither of the men who donned the cowl by his side are his favourite actor to take on the role.

While O’Donnell cites both Val Kilmer (Batman Forever) and George Clooney (Batman and Robin) as “very talented” but confesses that his favourite Batman portrayal came from Adam West. Chris O’Donnell states he was always a fan of the 1966-1968 television show Batman and that he had just enjoyed a documentary about the actor as well.

Perhaps O’Donnell wanted to stay neutral and not have to pick between either of his Bat-co-stars. Although this may not be the case, as he also went on to state that “we had a lot of fun George and I, but the film was a disaster”. Ouch!

Who is your all-time favourite Batman actor? How do you think Ben Affleck will rank among all these fantastic actors?
