During the panel for DC’s newest superhero universe, DC Super Hero Girls, attendees were treated to the very first, in-depth look at the property, and all it entails.

DCSHG features iconic DC female characters such as Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn.  Fans were given their own capes to wear to show their excitement and enthusiasm for this new universe, which features animated content, books, toys, apparel and more.

There were several big reveals during the packed panel, including the premiere of the second DCSHG animated short and a lyric video set to its theme song Get Your Cape On.  Attendees also were treated to the full line-up of Mattel’s new actions dolls, which we covered HERE earlier today, and a first look at the Supergirl action figure.

Details and artwork from the upcoming graphic novel and middle-grade novel series based on DCSHG was also discussed.

The panel was moderated by DC All Access host, Tiffany Smith, and featured the creative women behind-the-scenes of DC Super Hero Girls, including Ashley Eckstein (voice of Cheetah), Aria Moffly (DCE Creative Director), Shea Fontana (DCSHG Animation Writer & DC Comics Graphic Novel Author), Lisa Yee (Random House Children’s Books DCSHGs Middle-Grade Novel Series Author), Christine Kim (Mattel Toy Design Manager) and Tania Missad (Mattel Consumer Insights Director).
