The biggest film of 2016 might be sitting out the biggest game of 2016.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has yet to put up the hefty $5 million necessary for a 30-second ad during this year’s Super Bowl between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.

This, however, might not keep Batman v Superman out of the game.  Warner Bros. and BvS director Zack Snyder are teamed with Doritos on their final Super Bowl Commercial campaign, in which a fan-submitted Doritos commercial will air during the game.  The winner will work with Warner Bros. on an upcoming DC Comics-based film and receive $1 million prize.  It may only be a bit of branding there, but we’re likely to see something from the film during that spot.

Super Bowl 50 airs on CBS at 6:30pm EST on Feb. 7, 2016.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
