There have been many re-imaginings of the caped crusader over the past 75+ years. From comics, film, video games and television. Batman has always stood as a beacon of hope for those in Gotham City and has been one of the most popular superheroes ever.

The Timeless series merges different eras and historical backgrounds with the Batman lore. The Batman Timeless Bushido Variant Play Arts Kai Action Figure is derived from the spirit of bushido, “the way of the warrior.”

The samurai code of chivalry means a strong sense of justice; silent, but filled with strength and a kindness within. The spirit of the Japanese bushido is highly regarded all around the world.

With dual katana sheathed on his back, the figure complements the agile characteristics of Batman with a suit of armor tailored for a warrior of the Far East. The gashes and cuts all over his armor tell tales of epic battles. Some parts of the armor have incorporated a style similar to a military commander from the Sengoku era.

PAK-Bushido-Batman-004-768x768Batman’s gadgets include a grappling claw with era-appropriate design. Draped in a cape adorned with burning red embellishments and very deliberate use of black, this figure is reminiscent of finely crafted Japanese wares found throughout history. The figure stands like a handcrafted Japanese masterpiece, yet still exudes Batman from all angles.
