“DC Super Hero Girls” Graphic Novel Series Get Approval For Second Volume

Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Bumblebee and the rest of SHG gear up for round two!

Get you cape on! After the announcement of the first publishing of DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis (available July 5), DC Entertainment plans to keep the party going as they reveal a second volume has been greenlit called DC Super Hero Girls: Hits & Myths, due out on November 2. Writer Shea Fontana and artist Yancey Labat, who worked on the first book, will return for volume two.

While learning about The Odyssey in Mister Etrigan’s poetry class, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl and their friends go on their own Odyssey-inspired journey where they face off with a Cyclops, seek help from a Witch, and evade the Siren before journeying to the underworld. Can they help their teacher escape from Trigon’s prison and return home? Find out in DC Super Hero Girls: Hits & Myths.

You can get a sneak peek of DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis on Free Comic Book Day, May 7, as the first two chapters will be available at your local comic book shop.
