DC Kicks Off WonderCon 2016 With All Access

The seats were packed as DC Entertainment’s first panel, DC All Access; were treated to some behind the scenes looks at some amazing stories that DC has in store for us in the DC Entertainment Universe. The moderator and co-host of DC All Access Jason Inman spoke with a wide variety of people including Vertigo Executive Editor Shelly Bond, writer J.T. Krul, artists Ming Doyle, Jason Fabok, Mitch Gerads, and Annie Wu, along with LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya for an in-depth look at the stories that make DC, Vertigo, and MAD. All with a proverbial road map for those who are and are not versed in their universe.

Things started with some epic trailers for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – that’s out right now; along with Suicide Squad – which hits theaters  August 5th. From there Jason Fabok gave his 411 on Justice League #50 – comes out May 25th; and Annie Wu talked about her punk-rock companion Black Canary!

Then later writer Krul showed off some artwork from Bloodlines, a mini-series that is coming out soon. Ming Doyle picked up the pace with talk about Constantine: The Hellblazer with a sneak peek of issue #11! Of course there were DC TV shows like Gotham, Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, iZombie, Lucifer and coming soon Preacher! That’s right, Preacher is coming soon! Here is a couple of the pages from Bloodlines and Constantine, enjoy!

After the DC TV Nathan Sawaya showed off and discussed his Art of the Brick plus the Bat Signal in the DC Booth that I am told you NEED to check out! Of course this left those at the panel riled up and ready for more. Which they got it with the already popular DC Superhero Girls! There really is so much that is coming out this year!

Brandon Richardson

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon and it has always been a dream to work in comic books. And to do this is amazing and a lot of fun for me because not only do I get to read and write about what DC Comics is doing but it gives me more insight into who the characters are.
