Justice League/Power Rangers Comic Crossover Announced

With both Justice League and the Power Rangers movies set to release in 2017, it’s no wonder that DC Comics and Saban Brands are partnering with BOOM! Studios to release what it sure to be a highly anticipated crossover comic book to promote both movies: Justice League/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The embargo on the project was broken yesterday as several sources emerged with details surrounding the project, which had prior been kept quiet and top secret. The book will be written by Injustice: Gods Among Us writer Tom Taylor, whilst artwork for the series will be done by Stephen Byrne, known for his work on Justice League of America Rebirth: The Ray.

It has been confirmed that the crossover title won’t simply be an adaptation of either upcoming movie and is instead intended to bring the characters back to their roots in an all new story, with the Power Rangers characters to be based on their 1990’s TV series interpretations.
