Wonder Woman to be Scored by Rupert Gregson-Williams

Despite Junkie XL‘s music featuring in the recent Wonder Woman trailer, he’s not going to be composing in the actual Wonder Woman film. However, Rupert Gregson-Williams will be scoring the soundtrack for the blockbuster instead, according to a report from Theplaylist.

Gregson-Williams stated:

“I am working on Warner Bros. and DC Comics’ Wonder Woman, which looks amazing!”

Junkie XL and Hans Zimmer worked on Batman -v- Superman: Dawn of Justice and the track Is She With You? was a fan favourite and has since been widely used in promotion for Gal Gadot’s portrayal of the Amazon Princess, so it will be interesting to see how Rupert Gregson-Williams follows up.

In case you haven’t heard, Wonder Woman will be released in theatres on July 2, 2017. Here’s the official word on it, and the accompanying trailer.

“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”
