Entertainment Weekly has just unveiled a new photo from the upcoming DC Comics film, Wonder Woman. The still image shows Diana/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) stealing the Amazon’s mythical blade known as the Godkiller from Themyscira’s weapons armory in order to help save humanity.
In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home to bring an early end to the war.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, starring Gal Gadot, Robin Wright, Chris Pine, Danny Huston, and Connie Nielson. Wonder Woman releases in theaters on June 2, 2017.
