TV’s Hercules is about to take another legendary journey as actor Kevin Sorbo joins The CW’s Supergirl as a mystery villain ready to wreck havoc on the Maid of Might in National City!
There is no shortage of surprises coming to DC TV this season! With just days after announcing that Teri Hatcher the Desperate Housewives star and one-time better half of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman had been asked to appear on The CW hit series Supergirl starring Melissa Benoist, another big name and fan favorite from the 90s has also been linked to causing some chaos for the Girl of Steel!

Kevin Sorbo who starred in the syndicated adventures of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys has been tapped to make an appearance as yet another “mystery villain” descending upon National City! No word yet on who this “big bad” might be, but many speculations surround as to whether both Hatcher and Sorbo may be the pair shrouded in robes hunting Mon-El played by series regular Chris Wood.
Kevin Sorbo as Hercules in the syndicated hit that made him a household name. Many speculate as to what his role on “Supergirl” may be, but many fans are hopeful that he’ll make a lasting impression.
The Daxamite has revealed his genuinely heartfelt feelings for Kara and also asked that he be allowed to continue to partner up with the Kryptonian superhero, so we know that he’ll soon have his own super suit, though few details on whether he’ll sport a cape or not are still up in the air. In fact, plenty is still up in the air as Kevin Sorbo’s role hasn’t been confirmed, or Teri Hatcher’s for that matter.
Some online have hoped that Sorbo might be asked to embody the intergalactic mercenary and foul-mouthed bounty hunter Lobo. Given Sorbo’s penchant for physicality having appeared in roles on Andromeda and Kull the Conqueror it’s quite possible that might be in the cards. Many have taken to social networking and fans who follow Kevin Sorbo online have started scouring the net for clues, but with Supergirl spiraling into a climatic battle with White Martians, anything is possible!
