According to sources at TV Line, the NBC show Powerless has been officially cancelled by the network after only one season. NBC pulled the comedy series Powerless from their Thursday night line-up a few weeks ago, which sparked concerns among fans that it would be cancelled. After a few weeks of waiting, NBC has officially cancelled Powerless after one season as TV Line broke the news today.

Powerless, set in the DC Universe, stars Vanessa Hudgens as the research director at a security company that protects average citizens from the superhero battles raging all around them. The show has struggled in the ratings since its February 2 debut. Last week’s episode pulled in 2.1 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating — a 30 percent drop in both categories from its Superstore lead-in.

All but two episodes of the show’s original 13-episode order have been aired, one of which includes a guest appearance from TV’s original Batman, Adam West. It’s unclear when (or if) those episodes will air. Along with Hudgens, the cast also included sitcom veterans Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory), Danny Pudi (Community), Ron Funches (Undateable) and Christina Kirk (A to Z).
