Shared universes are a thing right now! You get to see it in both TV and movie production and to be honest, we can’t get enough of crossovers. The home of the Arrowverse doesn’t disappoint when it comes to crossovers nor do they come short. The CW has provided fans for over three years already when it comes to teaming up heroes on the small screen. But many fans have waited and hoped to have a crossover event with the studios’ long running drama Supernatural and Arrow. And now, it turns out that Stephen Amell is ready for the said crossover and is waiting for the response of Supernatural leads, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.

The Arrow lead answered several questions in his famous Facebook Live sessions, where he usually interacts and answers questions from his ever loyal fans. When asked about the Arrow/Supernatural crossover, Amell answered, saying:

“I mean, that’s really up to Jensen and Jared. I heard that they’re getting a spin-off which is exciting but as the much, much more senior members of the CW family, it really would be about finding a moment in their schedule to make all the fans happy. I’m totally up for it. I’m not trying to pass the buck, but the buck is now sitting at their feet.”

It seems that the Emerald Archer is up and ready and he’s giving the ball to Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Now, it is just a matter of time till the guys in Supernatural would agree on this kind of crossover. It has been a long time since they started teasing us about this but the question is, will it happen?

The idea of the two successful shows scheduling a get together is an awesome idea. With the two shows having the same broody mood and leads that use their brains and limited strength to battle unmeasurable feats, it would be an extremely cool idea.

But things may go unexpected when the crossover event would happen. Arrow is connected to other DC/CW shows; namely The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. The events of one show could affect the other which would raise a question when Green Arrow and the Winchester brothers would battle out against some monsters, why didn’t Ollie call the other heroes from the other shows.

Adding to that, it would also raise another situation wherein Supernatural would somehow be added in the Arrowverse which is not ideal. Supernatural has been around for a long time and had made its foundation solid ever since from the start.

Is this crossover something you’d like to see?  Let us know in the comments below!
