Last month, a rumor circulated on the internet that the co-creator and writer of Lost, Damon Lindelof, was in talks with HBO to develop a Watchmen series. In an interview last week with TVLine at Comic-Con, Lindelof said that he was on vacation when the news broke and when he came home, he found hundreds of emails sent to him asking about it.
Unfortunately, the news was false. He hasn’t met with HBO about making a Watchmen series, but thinks that making the material into a series was not a bad idea. At this moment, Lindelof is thinking about if he would want to pursue developing a Watchmen series and because he loves the material so much, he doesn’t want to screw things up.
