At the end of Season 5 of ARROW Oliver Queen defeats his enemy and rescues his son, but as his friends lives hang in the balance, how will fatherhood change the Emerald Archer when Season 6 returns in the fall?

Mostly everyone will agree that Season 5 of Arrow was a game-changer for the series! Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell) had been working to put back the pieces of his life, especially after losing one of his best friends, but when a new threat from his past came to Star City with vengeance on his mind, Queen had to step things up — both as his city’s vigilante archer and as its mayor! These were dangerous times for the Green Arrow!

As the perilous final act in Prometheus’ mad plan began to unravel, Oliver was faced with the ultimate dilemma — as he returned to the island that launched his alter-ego to rescue his son, William, from the clutches of his enemy! But all the while Prometheus had lured all of the Green Arrow’s friends and allies onto the island and in one final fatal maneuver detonated explosives that lit the island up like a Roman candle!

When ARROW returns in the fall, Oliver Queen’s life will be changed forever with the addition of Jack Moore who will be playing William, Oliver’s son.

We don’t know exactly who will survive the cataclysm, although following the cast’s attendance at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, fans are starting to put it together that at least Felicity, played by fan-favorite Emily Bett Rickards, will be back — and just how having William around (played Jack Moore) will affect hers and Oliver’s revisited love affair is anyone’s guest. The star of the series, Amell admits that he’s concerned, but less stressed about how Felicity will react.

The actor is focused on making certain that the chemistry between both he and Moore is as authentic as possible. “My first day on the show this year was four scenes with Jack [Moore],” Amell said and revealed he was very nervous about. “In my mind, this entire episode hinges on us having good on-screen chemistry.” Fortunately from the actor’s reaction, it went very well. “So Oliver being a dad, it’s certainly been my most fun thing to play.”

It would seem that Oliver and Felicity will be doing just fine, although the actor did give fans some pause when he was asked about her fate. To which he answered: “Did she live?” We’ll just have to tune in when the show returns to The CW on Oct. 12. The season premiere episode has been entitled “Fallout”.

Arrow returns on its new night Thursday, Oct 12  on The CW and stars Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Echo Kellum.
