Dan DiDio has made a name for himself, first as a creator and now as co-publisher of DC Comics, as he made great strides since he entered the industry. As anyone else who has been lucky to turn their passion into something that is money making, DiDio, started out sending submissions as far back as 1977.

Recently on Facebook, DiDio posted his first DC Submissions Policy and a rejection letter he received from the editorial department at DC at the time:

He would go on to eventually join DC in 2002 as a vice president of editorial before being eventually promoted to Executive Editor. Of course, his biggest promotion to this point has been being named co-publisher with Jim Lee. This letter serves as a gentle reminder that no matter how many times you may fail, all that really matters is that you never give up, just like Dan DiDio.
