Great news everyone! Shazam! actors Zachary Levi and Asher Angel have arrived in Toronto in preparation for filming, which is scheduled to begin in a few weeks.
On his Instagram account, Asher Angel, who will be playing Billy Batson in the film, updated his Instagram Story that he had arrived in Toronto. Then, the following afternoon, he posted a photo of himself and Zachary Levi at a table reading their scripts. “Here we go,” Angel wrote on the photo.
Shazam will begin production next month while the film will hit theaters on April 5, 2019.
