The Oscar nominations where released yesterday and neither Wonder Woman nor Justice League garnered any love from the Academy.
Warner Bros. campaigned hard for the Amazon princess to no avail, but Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad) was nominated for I, Tonya for Best Actress and Christopher Nolan was nominated for Best Director for his WW2 epic Dunkirk.
It’s definitely a shame as Wonder Woman, at the very least, should have gotten a nomination for Costume Design for the Amazonian’s outfits and the early 1900’s garb used in “Man’s World”.
