In a move that follows the recent appointment of Walter Hamada as President, DC films will have studio veteran Chantal Nong in a new executive role as head of production. She will be overseeing the pre-production of upcoming films The Flash and Wonder Woman 2 among other future projects.

As DC Films continues to fill out their executive roster, Chantal Nong will be coming aboard to oversee film development and production management for the studio. With several movies being announced or rumored to be in development for DC Films, Nong is tasked with straightening a ship that some DC fans believe is long overdue.

Nong has been with DC Films since 2011 but has been in the industry for quite some time now. She began her work in the industry as an assistant on such films as The Kite Runner and Synecdoche, New York. She then went on to work on other films such as the Robert DeNiro/Anne Hathaway comedy The Intern as well as comic book movie with 300: Rise Of An Empire. Before being appointed as an executive, Nong was wrapping up her production of the film The Meg with Jason Statham, and the highly anticipated movie Crazy Rich Asians.

Currently Aquaman has already wrapped up its principal photography and is currently working towards its release late this year while Shazam is just starting to enter its shooting phase right now. After that, we are looking at the sequel for Wonder Woman to begin its production schedule very soon and we can safely say that Nong will be overseeing that as well.

The next phase of production for DC Films that Nong will be in charge of is the Joss Whedon directed movie Batgirl and the delayed (and the potential soft reboot of the DCEU) Flash film based on Flashpoint.
