DC Legends of Tomorrow  has had its share of surprise guests, and season 3 episode 17 will add Barack Obama to the list.  This season, Legends has featured notable DC character such as John Constantine and Jonah Hex while also taking characters from real life such as Elvis Presley and now, in the penultimate episode, Barack Obama.

The 44th president’s inclusion in the series has been known for quite a while, but no one knew how he would be included or how this episode would set things up for the season finale until recently.  It turns out the the team will be splitting up in this episode to deal with multiple threats.

Sara and Rip will be traveling to the 1970s to look for a young Barack Obama at Occidental College.  Gorilla Grodd has returned with the ability to time-travel and he seems to have set his sights on the young future president.  It is still a mystery as to how much involvement young Obama will have, but DC Legends of Tomorrow  is never one to stray away from current and relevant jokes so expect some more political humor in this episode.

Meanwhile, Nate and Wally join forces to stop Amaya from changing the future while the rest of the team is forced to align themselves with Damien Dahrk.  This really sets things up for the final confrontation versus Mallus in the season finale.  Interestingly enough, John Noble, the actor who plays Mallus, will also be guest starring as himself in the episode.

With only two episodes remaining in season 3, there is definitely still a lot of information that fans want to know about the multiple storylines that have gone on this season.   The episode is title “Guest Starring John Noble,” and will premier Monday April 2, at 8:00 P.M. EST.
