‘The Kitchen’ Film Adds Mob Wife

According to Deadline, Alicia Coppola (Shameless) has been cast in New Line’s The Kitchen, a feature film adaptation of Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle’s Vertigo series.

Coppola will reportedly play Maria Coretti, the wife of mob boss played by Bill Camp.

Coppola joins an already impressive cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, Margo Martindale, Camp and Brian d’Arcy James in the story about the wives of Irish mobsters who team up to take over running the business after their husbands are arrested and sent to prison.
The film is scheduled for release Sept. 20, 2019.
