The epic, universe-impacting limited-series will have its next issue release on May 30th. Series creators Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok remain committed to a bi-monthly release schedule.

If you haven’t been following the limited series Doomsday Clock (you really should), then you should know that the story directly follows some of the major plot points from DC Rebirth #1. Since the series was announced, creators Johns and Fabok have worked hard to maintain a bi-monthly release schedule and in an press release to Previews World, they said the following:

“Gary and I are working diligently to deliver a thought-provoking and beautifully drawn series that’s unlike anything else on the shelves today,” says Johns. “It’s incredibly important to us to keep up the quality of DOOMSDAY CLOCK, but also to deliver it on the bimonthly schedule and we intend to keep our word. Issue #5 will begin the countdown for the DC Universe as the worlds of the Watchmen and DC collide full-on. Expect to see characters known and obscure step into the spotlight. And the strangest team-up you’ve ever seen.”

There was a small hiccup in the schedule with regards to the month of May which will only see one release towards the end of the month. Hopefully, the creators can keep on track without having to sacrifice quality. At the end of the day, even if we have to wait, the DC Faithful want a great pay off for this much hyped book.
