‘Wonder Woman 2’ To Film In A Mall In Virginia And In Washington D.C. This Summer

Last month we learned that Wonder Woman 2 would be filming at the Canary Islands in Spain, and the latest news is taking Gal Gadot to a very different location.

We have recently heard that the sequel to last year’s hit movie will film at Landmark Mall in Alexandria, Virginia. The mall has been shut down since last year, so it won’t be hard to bring in a movie crew. The movie will also shoot in Washington D.C., and filming is expected to take place in June and July, according to Washington Business Journal’s sources.

Last week at CinemaCon, Wonder Woman 2 director Patty Jenkins confirmed the rumors and announced that the movie will take place during the 1980s. And we also know that one of Wonder Woman’s biggest foes, Dr. Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, will be in the film, played by Kristen Wiig.

The film is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019.
