Grant Morrison is to co-write DC’s Sideways Annual #1 alongside co-publisher Dan DiDio.
News of the collaboration was announced by DiDio via Facebook, alongside the cover for the issue by Andy Kubert.
The cover is certainly intriguing as it shows a version of Superman looking rather similar to Morrison’s “New 52” version from his Action Comics relaunch.
As we all know, Rebirth has ended the “New 52” version of the character, but let’s face it, stranger things have happened within the DC Universe so the possibility of the “New 52” Superman re-emerging is of course always a possibility.
