Sam Witwer, who played Doomsday in the 8th season Smallville, is returning to the DC universe when he joins the cast of Supergirl as a series regular. Agent Liberty is the founder of Children of Liberty, an anti-alien hate group. He comes across as a family man which will make it that much harder to take him down.
Witwer’s previous roles include stints on Being Human and Once Upon A Time.
Sam is not the first Smallville actor to make an appearance on Supergirl. Erica Durance who played Lois Lane and Laura Vandervoort who played Supergirl have both appeared in the CW’s hit show.
Supergirl returns Oct 14.
