Timothy Hutton has joined the cast of FX’s Y: The Last Man as the president of the United States for the show’s pilot, according to Deadline.
The reported role is almost certainly destined to be brief – in Y all men but Yorick Brown and his capuchin monkey Ampersand perish due to a disease. However, Amber Tamblyn has been cast as the unnamed character’s daughter Mariette Callows for the series.
No release date has been set for the series.
