ras=al-ghul-arrowIn season 2 of Arrow, Ra’s name was dropped many times by various characters. Since then it has been revealed that Oded Fehr will be playing the iconic villain, it’s a no brainer that will be playing a vital role in the upcoming season.

While his facial features have yet to be revealed, at the end of the trailer, the camera work focused on all the details of his costume to showcase his character, his nationality and all the little things that mark him as the Demon’s Head. I’ve watched the trailer about 5 times now – and that’s just today. Check out right here!

Oded Fehr - the new Ra's Al Ghul

Oded Fehr – the new Ra’s Al Ghul

Oded Fehr is not new to this character, having been the main voice actor behind him in the animated series Young Justice from 2011 – 2013. So he knows this character and he knows what’s expected of him to bring this character to life. If you’re familiar with his work (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Resident Evil: ApocalypseResident Evil: Extinction and Resident Evil: Retribution) then you already know he is a talented actor who fits the bill perfectly. Don’t get me wrong, I love Liam Neeson but Oded Fehr is just as awesome.

Colton Hayes finally in his Arsenal suit!

Colton Haynes finally in his Arsenal suit!

However, as awesome as that was, the trailer as a whole certainly dropped a lot of bombs there. Viewers have their first look of Brandon Routh – who once donned the blue and red in Superman Returns – as Ray Palmer. He’s so dreamy. Then we also got to see Roy Harper, played by Colton Haynes, in his Arsenal costume! I’m hopelessly addicted to Red Hood and the Outlaws because it’s such a well written series and the costume works on the show because they worked very hard to make it pre-outlaw Arsenal.

Additionally, there were all those scenes of up the budding romance between Oliver and Felicity and a shot of Felicity all bloodied and injured. The team is also about to face some more struggles as tensions between Diggle and Oliver rise.

Over all, this is a pretty intense trailer that will get any fans blood pumping for Arrow Season 3. I think I’ll watch it again.
