Flash Season 1 Was An Alternate Timeline!

My mind is blown! What do you mean?! Well the Executive producer of The Flash, Andrew Kreisberg has said that the first season was off due to the Reverse Flash/Harrison Wells. So with that being said, will what we have seen and experienced throughout the first season ever come back up or have, pardon the pun, any flash backs that will be seen in season 2? Although we may not know the future Kreisberg has said,

Part of the fun of The Flash is when you have people dabbling in sci-fi physics, they’re significantly alternating the world. We established in the finale that the entire series of The Flash is, in itself, an alternative time line that’s been skewed from the real one. Wells setting off the accelerator created all the metahumans, and the results of the singularity will also have long-term effects.

Kreisberg also said that both Cavanagh and Letscher will be in future episodes of the show. The only thing that is up in the air still is if Harrison Wells will continue to be himself or if he will be an alternative version known as Eobard Thawne. With Eobard Thawne going back in time and hijacking Wells life so that he could create the S.T.A.R Labs particle accelerator and ultimately alter the whole time line or rather the multiple timelines. Only time will tell, okay I’m done with the puns. Grant Gustin in an interview recently said,

What’s fun about this show is that there’s going to be multiple timelines as we move forward. I think we’re going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on.

In this interview Gustin goes on saying that not only will The Flash be doing different timelines, but also go into different DC multiverses which opens all kinds of doors for Barry to show up in, like the new Supergirl T.V. series or even Gotham possibly.
