Actor J.K. Simmons reveals more about his role as Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming team blockbuster JUSTICE LEAGUE!
With the fandom descending upon the East Coast this weekend for New York City Comic-Con everyone is hopeful that more will be revealed as the release date for Justice League draws ever closer. The film is the next installment in the expanding DC Comics Extended Universe, most of the characters were introduced in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and even made cameos in the villains-heavy Suicide Squad feature, but JL will be the first time that these major powerhouses which will reunite Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman have appeared together on the big screen.
Veteran actor and recent Oscar Winner J.K. Simmons who appears in JL and has been cast in the coveted role Gotham City’s own Commissioner James Gordon was out promoting his current film project I’m Not Here and was asked at the London premiere about his upcoming role in the blockbuster as well as his anticipation in bringing the character further along when Ben Affleck dons the famous cape and cowl for his own upcoming solo turn in The Batman. The online entertainment site Red Carpet News TV posted a video with the actor who discussed his most recent turn in the DC Universe and his expectations for his character’s evolution.
Justice League is set to premiere worldwide in theaters everywhere in November and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
