Fans of Vertigo’s cult comic Y The Last Man have been anxiously awaiting any info about the upcoming TV adaptation. Coming hot off of SDCC we got some more casting news! From newsarama:
Amber Tamblyn has been cast as Mariette Callows in FX’s Y: The Last Man adaptation, according to Deadline. In Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra’s original comic book series, Mariette Callows is the daughter of the President of the United States – and groomed to succeed her conservative father in politics.
This follows the previous casting of Barry Keoghan, Diane Lane, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield, and Marin Ireland earlier this summer for the series.
No date has been set for the series premier yet, but we will let you know!
