Next week will be the release of Heroes in Crisis #1 by Tom King with art from Clay Mann. This was supposed to be a seven issue mini-series, now expanded to nine issues that explored fundamental questions like, “How do superheroes handle PTSD? How do DC’s Trinity—Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman—handle the traumas and anxieties of fighting crime and saving the world, over and over again? And what happens when the safeguards that have been in place for years, fail?”

Along with the extra two issues, artists Lee Weeks and Mitch Gerads will join the project on books #3 and #7 respectively.  Heroes In Crisis #1 is written by Tom King with art by Clay Mann and Tomeu Morey and letters by Clayton Cowles. It will arrive at your local comic book shop September 26.
