Many questions have been asked after the closing of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham saga. What’s next? A Superman based game? A new saga starring Damian Wayne or Dick Grayson? It turns out that some of the questions have been answered.

The company behind Batman: Arkham Origins, Warner Bros. Studios Montreal, will be giving us a new game. Senior Designer Osama Dorias appeared on Humans of Gaming’s podcast and stated that a “couple” of projects centered around the DC Universe were in the works at the studio.

“The project I just recently left, because there are a couple projects at [WB Games Montreal], the only thing I can say about is it’s a major console game, open world, DC Universe — so that’s really awesome.”

Sadly it might be a long time before we hear anything more about the project. Osama noted, “But I can’t really say anything else. It’s too early, it’s not announced yet. But it’s really kickass.” Osama noted on the podcast that he’s a big Marvel fan and loves very few DC titles. But the project he was working on was definitely one of the ones he loved. It came to light that Osama’s two favorite heroes were Batman and Superman. Could we see a game surrounding the World’s Finest? A Batman vs. Superman? Who knows.

We’ll just have to wait for more information. As always.
