With Nightwing concluding at issue #30, never before seen artwork from artist, Meghan Hetrick as been posted online. Late changes to the creative team of the issue were made to introduce the new creators behind the new comic series, Grayson. Grayson will launch the new adventures of Dick Grayson as a secret agent. Wednesday’s Heroes, an original art reseller posted the artwork with artist Meghan Hetrick and writer James Tynion IV as the original creators of the issue.
Through the website there are 30 pages of original artwork that are “unpublished pages from Nightwing #30.” The images do create a story that reflects on the history of Dick Grayson based in the New 52. Various characters are seen throughout the artwork saying their final goodbye. Other images include moments from Batgirl, Roy Harper. Starfire, Tim Drake, Jason Todd and of course, Batman.
DC Comics did confirm that Hetrick and Tynion IV were the original artist/writer team for the issue and that the version that was release on stands was a much more appropriate setup to the new series, Grayson.
