Summary
The islands explode with danger as a mysterious and malevolent radio signal mutates all who hear it!
Positives
In the first few pages, we get a bird’s eye view of how Amanda Waller put together this mostly female version of the Suicide Squad, a clear difference from the more well known versions fans have become accustomed to.
The most interesting of these characters is Ravager, the female version of Deathstroke, who bears a similar history with her male counterpart, yet much more layered. We also get to meet a much more stable version of Enchantress, one who is in control of her powers, that is, until the heat of battle clouds her judgement.
Lastly, the art by Hahn is gorgeous. As this book changes artists every few issues, each artist makes sure to keep the aesthetics Bennett has set forth, and Hahn is no exception.
