Last week DC previewed some new characters coming to Birds of Prey including 3 members of Strike Force Baslisk (Tsiklon, Hammerdown, & Whipcrack) as well as Uplink. I must admit the 1st time I seen these members, something felt familiar. Then when I saw this preview and the name used it clicked. Classic DC Comics Fans may start connecting the Basilisk concept more to the Outsiders and Kobra and back in Outsiders #21, a team debuted by the name of Strike Force Kobra. The New 52 seems to have step away from Kobra for Basilisk, however there is a new Strike Force in the DCnU, and it seems Basilisk will continue to haunt the Birds of Prey with possible connections now between Condor and Basilisk. What will Strike Force Basilisk have in store for the already shaken Birds of Prey team?
Betrayed by one of their own and homeless, the last thing the Birds need is another shock. But what is Condor’s link to BASILISK?
