The ultimate injustice is upon us! WB Games officially announced yesterday that the blockbuster game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be re-released in the Americas on November 12 as an “Ultimate Edition” of the game. The re-release will include all available downloadable content for the game, including the 6 additional characters, more than 30 skins, and so on. Priced at $59.99, the game will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PC, and the soon to be released PS4.
In its announcement, WB said that the game has been “[r]emastered for next-gen technology by High Voltage” and that “the PS4™ system version will feature Touchpad functionality, video sharing and streaming, and will link to players’ PlayStation® Network Feed page during match wrap-ups and pause menus.”
The re-release seems to be a great opportunity for players new to the game to get the full “Injustice” experience at a reasonable price. It will also provide players of the PS4 and PC the first opportunity to play the game on their preferred console. For those who have already played the game and purchased most of the DLC, the upcoming Ultimate Edition does not seem to be a worthwhile purchase as no new content is being released with the game.
