Recently TMZ ran into Aussie actor Callan Mulvey and questioned him about his rumored connection to the newly announced “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
Speculation about The Joker appearing in the film first ignited when cinematographer  Larry Fong released this photo.
This undoubtedly sent fans into a frenzy everywhere, very similar to when the first photo of Ben Affleck as Batman was released. The only other DC character the card could represent is The Royal Flush Gang who have appeared in a number of DC media outlets. If it is in fact that gang, this would make their silver screen debut.
Onto Callan though, his role has yet to have been announced from when he was signed to the film at the same time as two other characters, mostly notably Holly Hunter. When approached by the TMZ reporter, Callan neither denied or confirmed the rumors swirling about the film. He merely offered:
“Ummm, I can’t talk about it,” he said adding, “I can’t say anything, man. I’m sworn to secrecy – you’re going to have to wait and see.”
If you were to take a look at the IMDB page for the film you will see Callan’s name plastered amongst his other costars, but no character name next to him. Certainly  eye raising indeed.
