Several DC Movies Named Among Top 301 Films Of All Time

For the first time in six years, Empire Magazine has published the results of a reader poll to determine the Top 301 Greatest Movies of All Time.  Out of the 301 movies chosen, 7 of them are DC films.

Here’s the list of DC films:

#288 – Tim Burton’s Batman

#286 – Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel

#153 – Zack Snyder’s Watchmen

#138 – Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins

#121 – Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie

#72 – Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises

#3 – Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight

It’s nice to see the Dark Knight trilogy on this list, along with Tim Burton’s Batman.  The one that surprised me was Watchmen.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I love that film, but it’s not one that I instantly think that others would consider a best of all time film.

I definitely agree that these seven films should be on this list, however, I would have ranked some of them in a different order. I liked Man of Steel  a bit more than Watchmen, and I thought Batman was better than Superman: The Movie.
