Yvonne Craig, best known for playing Batgirl in the third season of the 1960’s Batman television series, will be making an appearance this summer in Niagara Falls, Canada as part of the 5th annual Niagara Falls Comic Con. Craig marks the fourth ‘60’s bat-star that has made it to this event, previous attendees being Adam West, Burt Ward, and Lee Meriwether. This marks Craig’s second Canadian appearance ever in history. Fans can expect to see her all three days of the convention, from June 5th-7th.
Niagara Falls Comic Con is held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre and features 2,000 square feet of comics, artists, movie props, seminars, celebrities and more. Last year’s turnout saw over 20,000 fans, with con-organizers predicting a turnout of over 25,000 people.Tickets for the event start at $25 and go on sale online on November 21st, 2014.Kids ages 10 and under get in for free.
